With our knowledgeable guides, we will unveil the centuries-old connection between the Ankole people and their iconic cattle. Hands-On Ankole Farm Activities:

Engage in authentic Ankole cattle experiences, from milking Ankole cows, smoking the milk pots, milk tasting, driving the hundreds of heads of Ankole cattle to massive pasture land, watering the majestic creatures using traditional systems, ghee & yoghurt making, participating in traditional dances & ceremonies. These interactive components allow you to be an active participant in the daily rhythm of life of Ankole cattle herdsmen & women, fostering a deeper understanding of the Ankole culture.

Cultural Workshops:

Shopping at the Ankole cattle farm:

we have a craft shop to allow our guests purchase authentic Ankole souvenirs for their loved ones as well as for themselves. Crafts include milk pots, hides & skins, spears sandals, bags, grazing sticks and many more. All those made the life of herdsmen.

Other activities include Ankole cattle filming & professional photography, Birding, Bicycle riding at the farm but on separate arrangement
